Carr's Northside Hotel and Cottages

A bear greeted us on our way in! Nice touch, Carr's. Our little cottage was comfortable. Getting in and out of traffic was easy. We would definitely stay again!

Every one of the staff was great and very helpful! We were able to get clean towels and supplies with no problem at all!!! The towels smelled fresh and clean! When we were checking in, we were greeted by a beautiful bear that comes calling in the area almost daily! She was no threat to anyone. As long as ALL food, snacks, gum, anything to eat was out of the vehicles, no problems!

cottage essentially clean except cupboards doors/drawers were sticky, otherwise very clean, comfortable. Housekeeping came upon request for towels, etc. Needed a larger pot for pasta and office gave us a brand new set of pots and pans. Pool and spa perfect temp, very clean and pleasant with plenty of patio furniture and floatie. The location is off the "main drag", but a close enough walk. Location is right near entrance to roaring motor trail and 3 minutes to Ely's Mountain store. Only disappointment with 1 room cottage, on creek, was a beautiful view but along the road with a lot of traffic noise. Would definitely

The CSR agent CJ was professional and very sweet. The location is absolutely perfect. The view from the balcony is the best! Listening to the running water. I've been a serious job work throughout my life. Is such a cute little place I would definitely recommend. Although, entering in the old white bedding comforter just looks so dingy. It was clean. The bed was pretty good if you like firm. I would just highly suggest if they updated the bedding and I noticed a chair that looked dirty around the dining room table, a few simple things would make this place look lovely and perfect! Hoping they wouldn't charge insane prices after that. I can see 15 $20 extra, as they make their money back in no time. Also, I would suggest a welcome coffee packet, as coffee filters but no coffee. It's really a cute place, and I love to go back again and highly recommend. Thank you CJ, for being a sweetheart. Sometimes we need constructive criticism to improve things. I loved the place but thankful I brought my own blanket. Lastly, there's a beautiful fireplace but we could not find any remote? Not that we were going to use it I was just browsing. Again, I love to come back and possibly bring family as well to stay in other places. So I hope this helps you, so I can visit again happier. I appreciate all, thank you for your time Sheryl N.

The view and location were amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us. I had called a few days before letting them know it was my boyfriend's birthday. They went as far as making at "towel cake' and placing blue rose petals on the bed for when we arrived. Such a great experience.
